Careful monitoring and the ability to give oxygen to a patient are some of the most basic treatments in healthcare, available at almost all levels of care in America and Europe.  They are all but taken for granted.  Here in Mali, however, these two interventions are lifesaving, but not readily available.  We are raising funds to purchase more oxygen concentrators and oxygen monitors as our current machines do not meet our patient needs during peak malaria season.  These machines are essential for care of premature babies, post-surgical patients, and malaria patients.

The cost of an individual machine after shipping to Mali is $900 and $1500 for a double machine for 2 patients.
