As you may well imagine a Hospital does not like germs very much! Right now we have two Magna-Clave sterilizers that prepare our instruments and other items for surgery.

When one of them breaks down we are worried, if both go down we are in big trouble!

When we move into the new building sometime in 2010 we will have a total of 4 Operating Rooms. Currently we have just one. So to keep up we will need to at least double our capacity. We are trying to get this model (see below) because it is extremely reliable, easy to repair and easy to find the needed parts.

Another advantage is that since these are built especially for mission hospitals the units that have three times the capacity of the current ones we use can be purchased and shipped to our container for about $6500 each. (The same price we would pay for a refurbished Magna-Clave.)
